PURPOSE:To improve degree of vacuum and gas displacement rate by moving a nozzle to suck the air in a cylindrical film through the opposite ends of the film which covers an item to be packaged. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle rotating mechanism 14 provided with a tank 20 for pressure reducing which moves in the same direction as that of a film F is formed, in which both edges F1, F1 of the cylindrical film F move with each nozzle 11 therebetween, both the edges F1, F1 are hanging through a gap 24 between deck plates 23, 23 on the opposite sides of the tank 20. The edges F1, F1 of the film are tightly attached around each nozzle 11, 11 by side belts 27, 27 to which urethane foams 26, 26 are bonded, to which a slit 32 and a vacuum pump 34 are connected. A pressurizing mechanism 38 connecting a pair of top sealers 42, 43 make a reciprocating motion at the same velocity as that of the film F and presses against the film to seal it, so that the air therein is drawn out. Center sealers 47, 47 weld the sealed film and the top sealers 42, 43 moving forward and rearward weld the film between packaged items 60, 60. Inerts gas also can be supplied.
