PURPOSE:To accurately execute the decision of the picture collation and to reduce the frequency of man's decision by utilizing the rate of decrease of a sample picture and the rate of decrease of a reference picture as a parameter for the decision of the picture collation. CONSTITUTION:A shadow collation system is composed of a shadow input device 10, picture processor 30, host computer 40, shadow picture display device 50, and an authenticity decision device 60. In this case, the ratio between the area of contraction layer and the original area respectively on a sample picture and on a reference picture only at the time of contracted by a prescribed number of layers is obtained as the rate of decrease, and the rate of decrease of the sample picture and the rate of decrease of the reference picture are utilized as parameters for the decision of the picture collation. Thus, the decision of the picture collation can be accurately executed and the frequency of the man's decision can be reduced. |
