The method is applicable for compensating the art effects of colour flickers. With it, a arithmetical mean of colour signal is formed from the current signal and the one preceding it with two lines, which allows to use directly the consecutive signal colour components SECAM, emitted by the composite signal or after modulation. As a result, the formed medium zone of the horizontal transfer is fully compensated. The brightness component can be equalized in time by two or by one television line.
