PURPOSE:To enhance printability, the touch and coating properties by taking the balance of developed color density and developed color staining by using a specific associable high-molecular compound in a coating solution. CONSTITUTION:In carbonless pressure-sensitive copy paper formed by applying a coating solution containing a microcapsule including a color former and latex to paper and drying the coating layer, an associable high-molecular compound is used in the coating solution. The associable high-molecular compound has a property associating with the latex or microcapsule within a region of pH=7-14 to partially gather or flocculate the same and interfacially associates by the interaction of hydrophobic groups. As the associable high-molecular compound, a water-soluble high-molecular polymer formed by locally providing hydrophobic groups in a polymer at two or more places or an emulsion thereof or a water-soluble high-molecular polymer formed by locally providing hydrophobic groups to at least both terminals of a polymer or an emulsion thereof is preferable. |
