In a mixer (1) having adjacent vertical bins (2), provided with a duct (4) for supplying the material in a current of air, the feed direction of the material slopes upwards and the bins (2) are of a height gradually increasing in the feed direction of the material. The angle of inclination is preferably between 10<o> and 70<o>.
