PURPOSE:To facilitate the reforming of a folded air bag by providing a press machine having a press plate elevatable based on a table and a shape holding jig arranged on a table having a support plate and a hook tool. CONSTITUTION:In the use of a reforming device M, a folded air bag 1 is set to a shape holding jig H arranged on a working table 33. Namely, the opening part of the folded air bag 1 is engaged with a protrusion part 11a of the shape holding jig H, and bolts for a retainer arranged to the peripheral edge of the opening part are inserted in respective holes in a support plate 11. The hook part of a hook 20 is locked to a shaft 16, being a support part for the support plate 11, as rubber band 19 of a hook tool 18 is stretched over the upper part of the air bag 1 in a manner to cover the air bag 1. The shape holding jig H in which the folded air bag 1 is set is arranged on a table 22 and a press machine P is started. The air bag 1 is pressed by a press plate 25 to perform reforming of the air bag 1. |
