PURPOSE:To change the directivity of sound by using a control means so as to change both or either of an output level and a phase of each speaker CONSTITUTION:When the output of a speaker 1a is kept constant and outputs of two speakers 1b, 1c are made different, the directivity of sound is changed. That is, when the output of the speaker 1b is set higher and the output level of the other speaker 1c is set lower, the sound outputted from the entire speaker group 1 is heard to be directed in the direction of the speaker 1b. In this case, output level variable devices 3a, 3b, 3c and delay devices 4a, 4b, 4c are adjusted based on a sound field mode setting signal from a sound field mode setting switch 8. Thus, the output levels of the speakers 1a, 1b, 1c are changed respectively to control the directivity of the sound. |
