The belt conveyor has a flexible oblong transporter (2) running over rollers and forming a surface (29) for the load on one side. The transporter consists of a number of individual belts (4) side by side, together forming an impervious load surface, which is flexible in all directions. They are movable in relation to each other in the transport direction but not at right angles to the load surface (29). |
