PURPOSE:To prevent oxidation of a separator that may be caused by an oxidizer gas by forming the separator by means of flame spraying of a ceramics layer onto one main surface of a metallic base. CONSTITUTION:A cell 8 comprises an anode 5 formed by a thermet of nickel and yttria stabilized zirconia, a solid electrolyte body 6 made of zirconia stabilized by 8mol% yttria, and a cathode 7 made of lanthanum strontium manganite. A separator 1A comprises a metallic base 9 made of SUS31O and a ceramics layer 10. The ceramics layer 10 is formed by plasma flame spraying method on the main surface of the separator 1A on which an oxidizer gas is circulated. |
