A club head for a golf iron club comprises a head body (1) having an inclined face, a back, and a sole, and heel and toe ends. A neck (2) is connected in one piece with the head body at the heel end thereof for attaching a club shaft. The head body (1) is provided at the intersection of the face and sole thereof with a knife-edged leading edge (4). A series of vertical ribs 6 and a horizontal rib 8 may be provided and a knife edge (41) may extend vertically as a continuation of the knife edge 4 in the region of the neck of the club. <IMAGE> |
