<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the occupied time of a central processor with a printer head by a method wherein the central processor is released between a printing data stop signal and a printing data request signal. CONSTITUTION:When a central processor 02 receives interruption by a request signal of printing data, printing data and a clock pulse are transferred. When a counter C1 examines a number of clock pulses and counts clock pulses of one block content, a block detection signal is emitted. When the block is detected, transfer of the data is stopped by a printing data stop signal, and the central processor 02 is released. Further, an input direction to a shift-register 4 of a next time block is reversed, and the printing data of the shift register 4 is transferred to a latch circuit 6. Further, a strobe signal is generated, and the printing data is supplied to a data bus. A value of counter C2 is decoded with a decoder 26 based on the block detection signal. One block is selected from light emission diode blocks L1-L40 and is driven with a driver 28.</p> |
