PURPOSE:To allow outputting with color prints and outputting with dot images by taking transmitted progressive color photographic image data directly into a computer, executing the checking of color tones and image quality with a color monitor and further image processing required for forming printed plates, and connecting the above device to an output machine. CONSTITUTION:This device has a 1st memory means 7 which stores the received progressive plate image signals in the form of digital signals, a color display means 13 which reads out the progressive plate image signals stored in the 1st memory means 7, and makes color display after subjecting these signals to D/A conversion at need, and a register adjusting means which registers the respective progressive plate image signals displayed in colors. The device is constituted by providing an image processing means which executes the image processing with the respective progressive plate image signals, a 2nd memory means 8 which stores the progressive plate image signals subjected to the image processing in the form of digital signals and output means 10, 11 which read the progressive plate image signals after the image processing out of the 2nd memory means and output the progressive plate image signals. The processed images of the received progressive plate image signals are converted to the dot images, etc., required for printing in this way. |
