PURPOSE:To ensure the work of installing a stairway by disposing in a foundation a base plate at the lower end portion of the ascending beam of the stairway, and threadably engaging in the base plate a level-adjusting bolt for adjusting the height of the lower end portion of the stairway, and filling the foundation with a filler. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 3 at the lower end portion of the ascending beam 2 of a stairway is disposed in a recessed portion 11a formed in a foundation 11 and a level-adjusting bolt 5 for adjusting the height at which the base plate 3 is installed is threadably fitted into the base plate 3. A filler hole 32 is bored through the base plate 3 and a filler 4 of nonshrink mortar is put in the recessed portion 11 from the filler hole 32. The lower end portion of the stairway can thus be surely installed. |
