PURPOSE:To quickly connect pipes and improve reliability in piping by providing a male member having a flange with the first engaging groove and notch opening, female member having a receiving section with the second engaging groove, and locking member. CONSTITUTION:A locking member 3 comprises elastic material rounded so that the whole becomes C-like shape. This is held by the first engaging groove 131 of a male section 1 resisting against its elastic force. The locking member 3 is thus contained in such a way that the external peripheral side is projected due to its elastic restoring force. In addition, the side of one end 1a of the male member 1 is inserted into the receiving section 21 of a female member 2. At this moment, the locking member 3 is made to shrink in diameter resisting against its elastic force, and the whole body is contained in the first engaging groove 131, and the side of the end 1a of the male member 1 is inserted into the female member 2. After that, the locking member 3 is expanded toward the second engaging groove 211 in diameter due to its elastic force, and the internal peripheral side is held by the first engaging groove 131, and the external side is held by the second engaging groove 211. The male member 1 and female member 2 are thus axially and radially locked. |
