PURPOSE:To enable sure power source interruption control to be performed following opening of a door by a method wherein a power source is supplied only to a recording part to be exposed by opening a door part provided to a box material and a motor of a recording part via a switch. CONSTITUTION:Since when a front door is opened, a door switch is opened in linkage therewith, supply of a power source to motor drivers 9e, 10e of a printer part is interrupted and the recording carriage motor 9e and the sheet carrying motor 10e are stopped instantaneously when the front door 15 is opened. A control part 14a detects opening of the front door 15 via a voltage detection part 14c following that. The control part displays this purport on a display 18 and besides, decreases drive voltage of a recording head 8b and drive voltage or the like of motors 2e, 3e of a scanner part R. Therefore, supply of power of a power source part 14b is interrupted. |
