<p>PURPOSE:To contrive the miniaturization of this precipitator and to increases the holding capacity of a dust by providing a discharging electrode capable of electro- charging the dust and having an electro-conductive fiber on the surface of the electrode plate and a counter pole part having the polarity to absorb the dust charged by this discharging electrode. CONSTITUTION:The discharging electrode 1 is provided with the electro--conductive fiber 3 on the surface of the electrode plate and executes the electro-charging of the dust 4. This discharging electrode 1 is constituted of plural sheets and the electrodes plates are exemplified by the electro-conductive metal plates such as steel plate, aluminum sheet and also the electro-conductive fiber 3 is exemplified by the electro-conductive nonwoven cloth such as carbon fiber body, copper plated fibrous body, and stuck to both sides of the electrode plates respectively to be mixed. When the voltage is applied to the discharging electrode 1 of this electrostatic precipitator, discharge is carried out from the electro-conductive fiber 3 of the surface of the electrode plates and the dust 4 is electrostatically charged. The charged dust 4 is suctioned to an opposite pole part 2 to be collected. Accordingly, since an electro-charged part is served also as the dust collecting filter, the miniaturization and the low cost production are attained.</p> |
