PURPOSE:To obtain a nonoriented silicon steel sheet having low core loss and high magnetic flux density capable of conserving energy in an electric equipment and its miniaturizing by specifying the compsn. constituted of C, Si, Mn, P, S, Al, Sb and Fe. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. constituted of, by weight, <=0.005% C, <=0.1% Si, 0.1 to O.7% Mn, 0.05 to 0.2% P, <=0.0l% S, >0.3 to 2.0% Al, 0.01 to 0.30% Sb and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is formed to obtain a nonoriented silicon steel sheet having excellent magnetic properties. This silicon steel sheet can be obtd. by subjecting stock having a prescribed componental compsn. to hot rolling at about 1100 to 1250 deg.C slab heating temp. and at about 750 to 950 deg.C finishing temp., thereafter coiling it at about >=600 deg.C, then subjecting this hot rolled sheet to annealing for improving its magnetic properties by the recrystallization of the worked structure and the coarsening of the crystalline grains and thereafter executing cold rolling. |
