PURPOSE:To make the vibration of a scanner motor hardly transmitted to a main body by means of a slit and to prevent the occurrence of noise by providing a slit on the peripheral part of a position where the scanner motor is attached. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 7a-1 provided with the scanner motor 7a attached on the lower surface side of it is fixed on a base cover 104 by screws 7a-2. A polygon mirror 7b is integrally attached on the scanner motor 7a. L-shaped slits 104b-2 are formed on the peripheral part of the substrate 7a-1 while leaving rib parts 104b-2 on the parts of it. By having the slits 104b-2, the vibration of the scanner motor 7a is made hardly transmitted to the base cover 104, so that the occurrence of the noise can be prevented. By fitting elastic material such as rubber, etc., in the slits 104b-2, the condition of supporting the scanner motor 7a is improved, and also the gap between the printer main body and a space 104c is sealed. |
