PURPOSE:To the purpose with a single laser optical system and a single data processing system, to simplify a device and to reduce its cost by shifting the emitting timing of the laser beam of each of plural laser oscillators and synthesizing those laser beams on the coaxial optical path. CONSTITUTION:The laser beams 100, 101 emitted from the laser oscillators 1, 2 through internal AO modulators 3, 4 are inputted into a polarized beam splitter 6 respectively through mirrors 5a-5c, synthesized as a laser beam 102 on the coaxial optical path and outputted to an external AO modulator 7. When the external AO modulator 7 is opened, the surface of the roll 10 is irradiated with the laser beam 102 from the polarized beam splitter 6 as the transmitted light 103 through a condenser lense 8. A switch pulse controller 13 divides a reference clock S1 into two clocks S1, S2 according to a signal from the CPU and outputs them to the laser oscillators 1, 2 through signal lines 120, 121. Since, in the polarized beam splitter 6, the laser beams 100, 101 from the laser beam oscillators 1, 2 are synthesized as the laser beam 102 on the coaxial optical path, the laser beam 102 is emitted by the cycle of the reference clock S1. |
