The invention relates to the field of pharmacotechnics, and more specifically to the production of skin preparations. Its subject is, more especially, gels having a phlebotonic action, wherein the active principle, diosmin or diosmoside, is reduced to particles not exceeding 100 nm in size, is dissolved in a solution of strong base and is incorporated in a solution of an acidic polymer which is capable of being gelled, to obtain a gel which remains fluid, the pH of which is close to neutrality. The gel of the invention is used as a medicament for venous disease.
