PURPOSE:To improve generating efficiency, and reduce power quantity at the time of operation, and reduce an equipment cost in the case of operating multiple number of fuel batteries by connecting a dedicated flow passage of the oxidant in series, and adjusting the oxidant having a density higher than the atmospheric air to supply it to an oxidant supply port of the whole of a fuel battery group. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen enriching device 6 is connected to an oxidant gas supply port of an oxidant polarity 13 of a first fuel battery 101, and the air of which density is raised is supplied as the oxidant gas. Next, an air exhaust line 42 from the oxidant polarity 13 of the first fuel battery 101 is connected to an oxidant gas supply port of the oxidant polarity 13 of the second fuel battery 102 through a cooler 7 to supply the oxidant electrode exhaust gas of the first fuel battery 101 to the second fuel battery 102. Flow passages of the oxidant gas of a group of multiple fuel batteries are connected in multistage to form one supply port and one exhaust port of the oxidant gas as a whole. |
