The lower wall has a series of axially extending walls defining a series of concentric annular spaces communicating via apertures in the walls, and in central shalf carries radial arms having apertured which register with the walls, and axially extending agitation vanes afe the wall provided between adjacent apertures. Excess fluie pref. is removed by an archimedean screw carried on the drive shalft. the chamber is used for condensing and polymn, of synthetic resins (particularly polyamides and polyesters) andagitation is sufficient to prevent stagnation and eliminate the formation of crush on the chamber walls.</p> |
