PROCESS FOR PRODUCING BULL GROWTH HORMONE (BGH) FROM YEAST BY RECOMBINANT DNA

A method for mass producing cattle growth hormone (CGH) comprises: (a) synthesising oligonucleotides according to the amino acid sequence of CGH; (b) cloning the fragment to E.coli vector by ligating; (c) ligating the cloned fragment to the vector to make a CGH gene lacking a portion of the N-terminus; (d) ligating the CGH gene with N-terminal synthetic adaptor and cloning into the E.coli vector having a promotor and a terminator to obtain a cassette of promotor-CGH gene terminator; (e) inserting the cassette into yeast expression vecotr; (f) expressing the resultant in yeast cells.
