<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the fault of a magnetic disk device by increasing the number of revolution of a cooling fan based on a program and suppressing the rise of the temperature when the number of recoverable errors exceeds a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:A part of an information processor consists of a control circuit 1, a memory 2, a magnetic disk device 3, a voltage control part 4, a power supply 5, a cooling fan 6, etc. When a fault such a CRC error, in the fault information, the error retry counting number is stored in the prescribed address of the memory 2 based on a program for the recoverable errors. When the error retry counting number reaches a prescribed level, a command by which the voltage supplied to the fan 6 is dropped by the program is issued to a voltage control part 4. Then the number of revolution of the fan 6 is increased and the ambient temperature of the device 3 is lowered. Thus it is possible to reduce the influence of temperatures to the device 3 and the fault of the device 3 can be prevented.</p> |
