A seat for motor vehicles, containing a lower cushion 38, is supported via a lower support 16 which is in turn supported in sliding manner by a lower guide rail 12 secured to the floor 11 of the motor vehicle. Furthermore, the seat has a support which is formed by two separate parts, in which one part is a guide element 21 and the other part a pin-type support element 33. The pin-type support element 33 is connected to the lower cushion 38 and has a roller-type portion 35 which is projecting and can slide in a guide slot 30 of the guide element 21. The two corresponding ends 31, 32 of the inclined guide slot 30 are at different horizontal and vertical levels. By a lengthwise translatory movement of the guide element 21 or the pin-type support element 33 there is produced a continuous adjustment of the height and inclination of the lower cushion 38 of the seat. <IMAGE> |
