PURPOSE:To ensure an accurate program searching with an inexpensive structure, by securing such a constitution that the extent of slip is detected when a rewind mode is changed to a reproduction mode during the program searching of a tape and then an ordinary reproduction mode is obtained after the reproduction of the slip extent. CONSTITUTION:When a rewind signal S1 is supplied to a control device 6 from a control circuit 5, a signal S2 is given to a tape driving mechanism 1. The nonrecord part of an audio signal S3 is supplied to the circuit 5 to turn off the signal S1 and the mechanism 1 is stopped. At the same time, a counter 4 is actuated by a signal S5 supplied from the circuit 5. The count number is stored by the counter 4 for a rotation detecting signal S4 that is produced subsequently by a slip. In a reproduction mode, a reproduction working signal S6 of the circuit 5 is applied to the control device 6 and at the same time the counter is operated by a signal S7. At the same time, a muting circuit 8 is actuated by a signal S8. When the slip count of the counter becomes zero, the signal S8 is reset to secure a reproduction mode. |
