PURPOSE:To make it possible to conduct tests without trouble on the changes in CG (character generator) characters and body faces and the like by detecting the discontinuity of specified character fonts, and discriminating erroneous mounting. CONSTITUTION:A specified-CG-data DT retrieving part retrieves the specified character fonts out of each ROM. Based on the result, a specified-CGDT memory part obtains the character fonts out of each ROM and stores the fonts. Then, a DT checking part checks at what number the bit is located in the sequence of the DT. The result is stored in a DT memory part. Then, an information computing part computes how far the neighboring bits are separated. The result is stored in an information memory part. Whether the neither the neighboring bits are continuous or not is checked with a continuity checking part for the result value. When the bits are discontinuous as a result, an erroneous-CG-mounting reporting part reports the fact that the ROM in the CG is erroneously mounted. Thus, the tests can be conducted without trouble even if the change in CG characters and the like are conducted. |
