PURPOSE:To enable the printing with a UV curable ink and improve transparency, coatability, etc., by compounding a vinyl chloride resin with a vinyl ester (co)polymer having specific linking units in the side chains. CONSTITUTION:A radical-polymerizable monomer having a linking unit of formula I or II is added to a suspension of a vinyl ester (co)polymer, allowed to be absorbed by particles of the (co)polymer, and polymerized in the presence of a free radical initiator at 60-130 deg.C to give a vinyl ester (co)polymer which pref. comprises an ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer contg. 50wt.% or higher vinyl ester units and contains linking units of formula I or II in the side chains in an amt. of 240-80000 in terms of SiO group equivalent. Then, a vinyl chloride resin, 0.1-30wt.% the (co)polymer contg. the linking units, and, if necessary, a pigment, a stabilizer, a plasticizer, a lubricant, etc., are compounded to give the title compsn. |
