The invention consists in the method of repairing foundations. It can be used particularly in the case of foundations of buildings, which were subject to excessive or uneven settlements in the ground.A known method of repairing foundations consists in excavating a foundation section and laying bricks therein.Another known method consists in undermining the foundation and placing short, approx. 30-centimeter pile sections, such sections are next forced under the foundation and added successively until required position of the foundation is achieved.The purpose of this invention is to develop an effective method of repairing foundations by lifting them. The method ensures a stable position of foundations and may be implemented with the use of simple technical tools.According to the invented method, an opening is made in the repaired foundation, where pads are inserted and bound with the foundation, usually by means of injection with the use of hardening substance, preferably, cement grout. Then, through the hole with pads, a pile constituting a support of repaired foundation is built and next, the foundation is relocated and stabilised in a required position, using several piles simultaneously, if need be. Then, the pile is fastened to the pads bound with the foundation, and the space between the ground and relocated foundation is filled with hardening substance, preferably cement grout.This invention allows to repair and lift foundations preventing from their further uneven settlement. It eliminates arduous works related to excavating foundations, being simpler and safer in comparison with traditional methods which involve risk of a building collapse and require great precision and high qualifications of contractors.This invention is further explained on the figure presenting a fragment of foundation under repair in a longitudinal section diagram.In order to repair a foundation, an opening is drilled in foundation element 1 (the spot footing, combined footing, base slab).
