PURPOSE:To measure an offset value with high accuracy by measuring the position where the optical axis of an optical sensor coincides with that of a picture image input device as well as measuring the position where the center axis of a holding part coincides with the optical axis of the image input device, and measuring the clearance of two positions. CONSTITUTION:The center axis of the hold part 12 of a hand mechanism 11 provided on an automatic connection device is conformed with the optical axis of a picture image input device 16. The center axis of the hold part 12 and the optical axis of an optical sensor 13 are made parallel, by conforming the optical axis of the optical sensor 13 fitted to the hand mechanism 11 with that of the image input device 16. The position where the center axis of the hold part 12 is conformed with that of the image input device 16 is then measured, and also the position where the optical axis of the optical sensor 13 is conformed with that of the image input device 16 is measured. The offset value of the automatic connection device is measured, by measuring the clearance of these two positions. |
