The device for storing and dispensing parts mounted on or in a support has a storage container (1) from where the support (3) is removed before being set down in another storage container (21). The support is placed in snaked lines (18) in at least one container (and/or 2) whereby a positioning drive is mounted between the storage containers to transfer the support. The support (3) can comprise small pipes mounted axially parallel and connected together by criss-cross belts (5,6). The drive can have an associated shaft (8) with drive wheel or pinion which engages om corresponding recesses in the support. ADVANTAGE - Accurate positioning of the support in the stationary removal position is possible without extra drives.
