PURPOSE: To install a strip on the door periphery of a car body of an automobile under proper pressure by arranging pressure responsive means to issue a warning display when pressure drops to a prescribed level or less in response to the magnitude of pressure applied to the surface of the strip by roller means. CONSTITUTION: In a tool to install a grooved strip 7 having the constant length on an installing flange 6, the apparatus is provided with the main body parts 55, 56 having roller devices 32, 34, 40 to apply pressure to it by engaging with the outside surface of the strip 7 existing on the installing flange 6 and a motor 54 which is supported by these main body parts 55, 56 and frictionally drives the tool in the lengthwise direction of the strip 7 on the flange 6 while rotating the roller devices 32, 34. Pressure responsive devices 48, 49 are also arranged to issue a warning display when pressure drops to a prescribed level or less in response to the magnitude of pressure applied to the surface of the strip 7 by these roller devices 32, 34, 40. |
