A system for defining borders of analyzed image in a digital image processing system equipped with a utility television camera or a video recorder with an input system for signal amplification and adjustment for analogue-to-digital processing, characterized by the fact that the output of the input system (2) is connected with the analogue-to-digital converter (3) and with a controllable amplification amplifier (4), while the output of the analogue-to-digital converter (3) is connected with an image memory block (5) which in turn is feedback connected with a microcomputer (6), which is also feedback connected with an image controlling block (7) and its output is connected to an image memory block (5), a digital-to-analogue converter (8) and to one of inputs of an analogue key (9). To its other inputs the controllable amplification amplifier (4) and the digital-to-analogue converter (8) are connected, whereas to its output an image monitor (11) via an output amplifier (10) is connected.<IMAGE>
