1. Method of producing substituted gem-dichlorocyclopropanes with general formula 1, in which R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4> indicate hydrogen atoms or alkyl group, or aryls, or alkoxyls, or parts of carbon ring, is characterised in that dihalomethanes with general formula 2, in which X indicates chlorine or bromine atom, are subjected to reaction with perchloroalcanes with general formula 3, where Y indicates chlorine atom or trichlorinomethyl group and with alkyls with general formula 4, in which R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4> have the above stated meaning, in the presence of hydroxides of alkaline metals and quaternary amino salts as the catalyst.<IMAGE>
