PURPOSE:To strengthen the rigidity of a case with a simple means, by providing a member directly receiving and standing a sliding force due to a bending moment incorporatedly for each case, to an outer circumference wall adhering surface within a prescribed range from a tape running surface of an upper and lower case. CONSTITUTION:Members 5 and 7 are provided, which freely removably fix upper and lower cases made of a plastic resin material, have a coupled surface vertical to the bottom of a tape cassette and not in parallel with the side and are incorporated with the upper or lower case. The members are provided near an outer circumference adhering plane 4a of the upper and lower cases with the range within 0.4D from the running surface, where D is a depth of the cassette vertical to the tape running surface, and the coupled surface is latched with the outer circumference wall of the lower or upper case, allowing to strengthen the rigidity of the main body case to a sliding force due to a bending moment with a simple means. |
