<p>The channel for the strip to develop into foamed material has upper and lower conveyors, the lower conveyor carrying individual side plates to give the side limits. Each plate has a sprung roller, working in conjunction with a sloping plate, to exert an increasing pressure to force it against its neighbour, and present a smooth internal plane for the foam, without the need of separating paper strip to ensure a smooth side on the finished product.</p> |
