PURPOSE:To manufacture a data plate capable of performing the quality test of various kinds and thus improving the quality of an article and reducing the designing risks of a mold by designing the molding gaps between a plurality of mold plates into configurations corresponding to a data plate capable of taking a plurality of test date. CONSTITUTION:Structures corresponding to each part of a data plate are directly made on the mold plate parts 3,4 of a mold or on the mold pieces 9,10 provided in the mold plates. For example, a stationary side mold piece 9 is made with two holes at constant distances and the contraction coefficient of molded data plates is measured thereby. A plurality of grooves being different in its depth and width are provided on a movable side mold piece 10 and the fluidity of a molding material is observed thereby. Furthermore, the gaps between the stationary side mold piece 9 and the movable side mold piece 10 are mirror surface-finished and the mirror surface transparency is checked thereby. A part is provided which comes into contact with the movable side piece 10 and partially into contact with the stationary side mold piece 9, thereby watching the gate plate position of the molded data plate and the weld produced on the opposite side thereof. In this way, by the data plate 20 obtained from the mold in molding, data are taken that are contraction coefficiency, fluidity, mirror surface property, transparency, weld mark, the transferring property of grain, gate, sculpture, recession shape, boss, hinge property, rib, color samples and the like. |
