摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an image receiving material excellent in heat resistance, the sensitivity of an image and the releasability from an ink sheet after recording and generating no wrinkles in the ink sheet during printing by adding a polyester modified silicone resin to a dye receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving material is constituted of an image receiving substrate A and a dye receiving layer B and a sublimation transfer recording medium is constituted of a heat-resistant layer 2, a transfer substrate 3 and a dye transfer layer 4. A heat-sublimable dye is sublimed and diffused from the dye transfer layer 4 of the sublimation transfer recording medium by the heat from a thermal head 1 to be transferred to the dye receiving layer B of the image receiving material. The sublimed dye transferred to the image receiving material is diffused throughout the dyeing resin forming the dye receiving layer B to dye the resin. In this case, in the image receiving material, for example, the dye receiving layer based on a polyvinyl chloride resin containing active hydrogen, isocyanate and polyester modified silicone resin is provided on the substrate.
