PURPOSE:To still more improve the availability of facsimile equipment and the efficiency of business using the facsimile equipment by providing a receiving time storing means to store a time range to authorize receiving and a judging means to compare the receiving time and the receiving authorized time within the receiving time storing means and to judge the possibility of the receiving and authorizing the receiving only when the receiving time is within the receiving authorized time. CONSTITUTION:Facsimile equipment 1 reads incoming time (present time) from a timer mechanism, compares the read incoming time with receiving authorized time stored in a memory 6 and checks whether it is within a receiving authorized time zone or not. The receiving authorized time zone is inputted by the key operation of an operating display part 3 by a operator and is registered as receiving authorized starting time and receiving authorized finishing time. When the incoming time is within the receiving authorized time zone, receiving starting is indicated to a communication part 9 and the communication part 9 makes off-hook and starts receiving processing when the receiving starting is indicated. When the receiving processing is completed, it makes on-hook and returns to a stand-by state. On the other hand, when the incoming time is not within the receiving authorized time zone, receiving refusing is indicated to the communication part 9 and the communication part 9 keeps an on-hook state and refuses receiving. |
