PURPOSE:To enable a thermal recording material which is excellent in thermal response to be obtained by a method wherein three components of a dye precursor, a developer, and a sensitizer are taken as mandatory components and are condensed with a cationic dispersant. CONSTITUTION:A flock for thermal recording is used by taking three components consisting of a dye precursor, a developer, and a sensitizer as mandatory components and by taking 2-30mum average grain size, preferably 3-20mum and further more preferably 5-10mum. Each of three components is used by using that which was made 0.5mum average grain size preliminarily by monodispersion or polydispersion (combination of dye precursor sensitizer or developer-sensitizer) and by condensing a mixture consisting of three components dispersed preliminarily with an anionic dispersant by using a cationic surface active agent and a cationic polymer. |
