PURPOSE: To obtain a reagent test instrument which can be gripped easily and packaged flatly by constituting the reagent test instrument of a support having a reagent pad at one end and a handle at the other end. CONSTITUTION: The reagent test instrument 10 comprises a support 12 made of a flexible substance having first end secured with a reagent pad 16 and second end 20 defining an easy-to-grip handle 22. A bend or a crease 24 is formed from the end 20 along the support 12 on the inside in order to permit lateral movement of the handle 22 from the plane of the support 12. The flat drum part 26 of the reagent test instrument 10 is defined between the bend 24 and a barrier 18. A plurality of touchable marks 28 can be formed at the drum part 26, as required, in order to assist a visually handicapped or disable person for selecting the type of the reagent test instrument and making a decision on which side thereof a blood sample must be applied.
