PURPOSE:To conduct assembly at correct positions at all times so as not to cause malfunction, by making the seat shapes of both cathode and anode terminal poles different, and making the cathode terminal pole outer diameter and the cathode bushing terminal inner diameter respectively thicker than the anode terminal pole outer diameter and the anode brushing inner diameter. CONSTITUTION:Cathode plates 2 and anode plates 3 are accumulated in layers through separators 5, and a plate group 1 is formed, and then, group welding is conducted. At the group welding process, terminal poles can be provided at correct positions at all times by making the shapes of seats 17, 17' provided at the bottoms of both poles 7, 7', different. What has been group welded are housed into a battery jar, and connected between cells and then, a battery jar cover 12 is covered on the jar 10, and bushing terminals are inserted into terminal poles, and the jar and the cover are attached by fusion, and terminal portions are welded. Malfunction at the time of the fusion adhesion of the battery jar to the battery jar cover is prevented by making the outer diameters of both cathode and anode terminal poles different and making the diameter of the cathode terminal pole 7 thicker than that of the anode terminal pole 7' and in addition, making the cathode bushing terminal diameter thicker. |
