<p>PURPOSE:To enable execution of detection without a time lag and with very high precision by a method wherein signals from a longitudinal acceleration sensor and a lateral acceleration sensor are subjected to a synthesizing operation. CONSTITUTION:Noise of signals of accelerations detected by a longitudinal acceleration sensor 1 and a lateral acceleration sensor 2 is removed by noise filters 8a and 8b and the signals are inputted as vector amounts A and B to a division circuit 9 of an arithmetic means 15. Herein the ratio between the vectors A and B is taken and inputted to a conversion circuit 10. In the conversion circuit 10, arc tan (B/A), i.e., a slip angle beta, is computed from the vectors A and B and inputted to a buffer amplifier 14. The signal is amplified and outputted as a control signal to a running control system. In other words, precision is improved, since the slip angle is a measured solution, and responsiveness is made speedy since the acceleration sensors are used. Thereby the efficiency of a control system utilizing the sensors can be made excellent.</p> |
