PURPOSE:To obtain the subject nonwoven fabric for a diaper, etc., having excellent flexibility by laminating a nonwoven web comprising continuous filament group accumu lated in a sheet-like form, introducing between a pair of rolls comprising uneven rolls, laying on a net-like conveyer and applying a high-pressure water columnar flow from upward. CONSTITUTION:Continuous filament groups 2a and 2b are respectively accumulated in a sheet-like form and the resultant first and second nonwoven webs 1a and 1b are laminated to obtain a laminated web 7, and the laminated web is passed between a pair of rolls in which one is uneven roll 8, then laid on a net-like conveyer 11 and a high-pressure water columnar flow 10 is applied from upward to produce a nonwoven fabric of continuous fiber. In said process, one of the pair of rolls 8 and 9 is heated to a higher temperature then another, and the first web 1a brought into contact with the uneven roll 8 generates self-fusion between the continuous filaments corresponding to a protruded part of the uneven roll 8. Then the second nonwoven web 1b brought into contact with the other roll 9 not having any heat-fusing part. Thus, the first web 1a side is brought into contact with the net-like conveyer 11 and the second web 1b side is subjected to the high-pressure water columnar flow 10, and both the nonwoven webs 1a and 1b are mutually interlaced to afford the objective nonwoven fabric of continuous fiber. |
