PURPOSE:To shorten the time difference from key depression to sound generation by interrupting a CPU as a control part when a 1st contact of one of all keys is operated and performing interval control over performance information precedently to sound volume control. CONSTITUTION:When a key of a keyboard 21 is operated, its contact operates and a 1st interruption signal generation device 26 generates an interruption signal INT6 for informing the CPU 3 of the determination of interval information at the same time. The CPU 3 performs a sound generating process, etc., according to the sound volume information INF8 and interval information INF9 and outputs a control signal to a musical sound signal generation device 4. Namely, the interval information over the performance information is performed precedently to the sound volume control to eliminate a processing time regarding the interval information apparently when the processing time regarding the interval information is shorter than the time for obtaining the sound volume information. Consequently, the time from the key operation to the sound generation is shortened. |
