METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING METALLIC CYLINDER

PURPOSE:To align joints in alignment by disposing cylindrical parts which are formed by rounding plural pieces of metallic flat plates in a longitudinal row, individually rotating these parts and independently stopping the parts in a prescribed position. CONSTITUTION:The plural cylindrical parts 27 are disposed in the longitudinal row and are individually rotated, then the rotation of the respective cylindrical parts is independently stopped when the respective joints 23 come to the prescribed position in the production of the metallic cylinders by positioning the respective joints 23 of plural pieces of the cylindrical parts 27 which are formed by rounding the flat plate metallic blank materials in alignment and welding these joints by a high-energy beam, then separating the respective parts. All of the joints 23 of the cylindrical parts 27 are arrayed in alignment in this way.
