PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight parabola antenna having improved weatherability by a method wherein integral injection molding of pellet-shaped thermoplastic composition is carried out under the condition that thin sheet, which is produced by providing film layer on radio wave reflecting layer, is inserted in molds. CONSTITUTION:Pellet-shaped thermoplastic resin composition having the structure, in which the length of glass fiber filler is the same as that of pellet and the filler is oriented nearly parallel to the longitudinal direction of the pellet, is obtained by drawing. Thermoplastic resin is styrene-based resin such as ABS resin, MBS resin, HI-PS resin or the like, PMMA-based resin, PPO, modified PPO, PC, PUR or composite resin mainly consisting of PPO, modified PPO, PC and PUR. Film 3 is polymer of methacrylic acid ester and acrylic acid ester or composite resin composition of the polymer just mentioned above the PVC and is produced by vacuum-form in the thickness of 300mum under the condition that PMMA/PVC=75/25wt.%. Under the condition that brass wire gauze 4, which has the mesh of 40 and is placed on the film 3, is installed in molds 1 and 2, the pellet-shaped AES resin composition, which contains 25wt.% of glass fiber and has the length of the pellet of 12mm, is injection-molded so as to produce the parabola antenna concerned. |
