The deodorant heat-flame fiber is produced by adding a deodorizing material to the fiber-forming polymer in the melt-spinning- process. The deodrizing material is pref. one or two of 2,4,4'-trichloro-2'-hydroxy diphenyl ether, alpha-bromocinnamalhyde + 2-[3,5-dimethyl pyrazolyl-(1) -6-hydroxy-4-phenyl pyrimidine, 3-(trimethoxyl silyl) propyl dimethyl octadecyl ammonium chloride and methal phthalocyanine derivative of formula (I) [X=H, alkyl, halogen, nitro, carboxyl, anino, azo or carboxylimide; M=Fe,Co,Mn,Ti,Ni,Cu,Zn,Mo,W,Os . The polymer is nylon 6, nylon 66 or polypropylene.
