Joint characterized in that it has a laminar profile with, depending on its thickness, a lower zone intended to be inserted in a groove made or pre-existing in the original or base pavement, and having an upper zone intended to be incorporated in the new pavement which is laid over the old pavement, the joint being anchored in the latter, its edge being flush with the visible surface of the superposed pavement. It is intended to be applied to the laying of pavements superposed on old pavements, making it possible to make the expansion joints of both pavements uniform. <IMAGE>
