<p>The invention relates to a cooking assembly for a cooker or a cooking table, comprising a cooking plate (1) and at least one gas burner (100) enable to heat a container, said cooking plate presenting an opening (4) associated with the burner to enable a direct action of said burner. According to the invention, at least one of the gas burners (100) is a radiant burner with a fibrous metallic structure whose upper face (101) is substantially flat and flush with the upper plane (P) of the cooking plate (1), said radiant burner (100) being arranged so as to obturate the associated opening (4).
